Greeters Ministry
This is the time of year when people visit your congregation
and are looking for a church home.
Church Growth research is clear...visitors form opinions
about churches with-in the first thirty seconds.
You need a plan for welcoming visitors and helping them to
feel at home.
In the next few weeks you will have more people looking at
at your church than at any other time of the year.
Will they think your church is friendly? Will they see that
the church is a place where they can belong? Is there any
way to make sure?
You will never get a second chance to make a first
impression. When a guest walks into your church building you
have 30 seconds to make a positive impression that
determines if they will come back...ever, or simply visit
more churches until they find a friendly church.
