Covent Garden Hotel - The Most Unique Property in London
By Mark Winston
I am a regular visitor of London, most of the time for business purposes. I like its hotels but my experience of Covent Garden hotel created a great difference. It was not just a spot for relaxation to me, but also it was a lot more than I had imagined. You can't possibly get lost, since the hotel is centrally positioned, and in one of London’s best neighborhoods inside the West End. In fact, it’s just a few steps away from the Covent Garden. Nearby, you'll discover wonderful stores, little cafes as well as a beautiful French restaurant just across the avenue. This is the best spot to sit and watch Londoners strutting all over the roads brimming with life.
The hotel’s interior design is not only unique, but also very legendary. According to residents, the Hotel was formerly a hospital that in 1996 was rehabilitated into the most wonderful thing you may possibly find in London. Its entrance is attractively decorated with a mixture of both traditional and current decorations. I fell in love with the stunning staircases decorated in lovely decorations. My room was a mixture of tapestry and hand made Asian fabrics just to provide it a great feel. Covent Garden Hotel features a welcoming lobby and in contrast to most hotels in London, my room was really big, and had all of the comfort and ease you desire to have, and undoubtedly great for family. The bathrooms are luxurious and contemporary, with deluxe double showers. There's a TV and laptop for you in their rooms, and reliable internet connectivity is definitely a guarantee. Those on business don't have to worry about leaving their laptop as well as having troubles doing work at night.
One special thing regarding Covent Garden Hotel is that although it attracts those stressful business driven visitors, it also aims to give families as well as other vacationers a homey environment. The hotel personnel is quite friendly as well as helpful, and definately will always run to open the door for everyone. Actually I found some chocolates and strawberries in my room. I was so surprised by this touch. It was good for me, particularly coming after having a long day traveling. it was pleasant to finally obtain some peace of mind!. Various other facilities offered such as a gym/fitness room, bar, cafe having quality food, well stocked and exceptional library and also a drawing room. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend this the Covent Garden hotel to all kinds of visitors of London.
